Indication

Quinolone antibacterial drugs. Used for bacterial diseases and mycoplasma infection of livestock and poultry.

Usage and Dosage

Method

Intramuscular injection

Livestock (Cattle, Sheep, Pig)

0.025ml per 1kg bodyweight

Small Animals (Dog, Cat, Rabbit)

0.025~0.05ml per 1kg bodyweight

Frequency & Duration

1~2 times a day, for 2~3 days

Drug Interactions

  • Synergistic effect with aminoglycoside or broad-spectrum penicillin.
  • Heavy metal ions (Ca, Mg+, Fe, AP) can combine with the product to affect absorption.
  • When combined with theophylline/caffeine, plasma protein binding decreases, leading to abnormally high blood concentrations and potential poisoning.
  • Inhibits liver drug enzymes, reducing clearance rates of drugs metabolized in the liver.

Adverse Reactions

  • Young Animals: Causes cartilage degeneration, affects bone development, claudication, and pain.
  • Digestive System: Vomiting, loss of appetite, and diarrhea.
  • Skin: Erythema, pruritus, urticaria, and photosensitive reactions.
  • Dogs & Cats: Occasional allergic reactions, ataxia, or seizures.

Precautions

  • Use with caution in dogs suffering from epilepsy due to potential central system excitatory effects.
  • Caution in carnivorous animals and those with renal dysfunction; may produce crystalline urine.
  • Not suitable for use in dogs under 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid long-term use in subtherapeutic doses to prevent increasing drug-resistant strains.
