[usage and dosage]
1. Adults: intramuscular injection of 2-4g per day in 4 doses; intravenous infusion or injection of 4-8g per day for 2-4 doses. The daily dose of severely infected patients can be increased to 12g, with the highest daily dose of 14g.
2. Children: intramuscular injection 50-100mg / kg daily; intravenous infusion or injection 100-200mg / kg daily. The highest daily dose was 300mg / kg by body weight.
[untoward effect]
1. The adverse reactions of this product are similar to penicillin, and allergic reactions are more common. Rash is the most common reaction, usually occurs 5 days after medication, with urticaria or maculopapular rash; interstitial nephritis can also occur; anaphylactic shock occasionally.
2. Gastrointestinal reactions such as glossitis, gastritis, nausea, vomiting, enteritis, diarrhea and mild abdominal pain are also more common.

2. Patients with infectious mononucleosis, cytomegalovirus infection, lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma are prone to rash when using this product, and should be avoided.
