[indication]
It is used for the treatment of acute pharyngitis and acute tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes; acute attack of sinusitis, otitis media, acute bronchitis and chronic bronchitis caused by sensitive bacteria; pneumonia of Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae and pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae.

[usage and dosage]
Take it orally.
1. Adult dosage: sexually transmitted diseases caused by Chlamydia trachomatis or sensitive Neisseria gonorrhoeae, only a single oral dose of 1.0g. Treatment for other infections: 0.5g on day 1,0.25g on day 2-5.
2. Quantity of children: for the treatment of otitis media and pneumonia, take 10mg / kg daily on the 1st day, and 5mg / kg daily on the 2nd-5th day. To treat pharyngitis and tonsillitis in children, take it a day by weight of 12mg / kg for 5 days.

This product is generally well tolerated, the incidence of adverse reactions is low, mostly mild to moderate reversible reactions.

[taboo]
1. Not allowed for those allergic to azithromycin, erythromycin or any other macrolides.
2 Patients with a history of cholestatic jaundice / hepatic insufficiency after previous azithromycin use are contraindicated.

[matters need attention]
1. Eating can affect the absorption of azithromycin, so it should be taken orally 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
2. As the hepatobiliary system is the main way of azithromycin excretion, it should be used with caution in patients with liver insufficiency and not used in patients with severe liver disease. Liver function will be followed up regularly during the medication period.
3. If an allergic reaction occurs during the medication period, stop taking the drug immediately and take appropriate measures.
