[usage and dosage]
intravenous drip:
1. Adults: 0.6-1.2g a day, divided to 2-4 injections; severe infection: 1.2-2.4g a day, divided to 2-4 times by intravenous infusion.
2. Children: 15-25mg / kg per day, 3-4 times; severe infection: 25-40mg / kg, 3-4 times per day.

[untoward effect]
1. Gastrointestinal reactions: common nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, etc.; severe abdominal colic and partial pressure diarrhea (watery or purulent), accompanied by fever, abnormal thirst and fatigue (pseudomembrane enteritis). Diarrhea, enteritis and pseudomembranous enteritis can occur in the early stages of medication or several weeks after withdrawal.
2. Hematological system: occasional leukopenia, neutropenia, eosinophilia and thrombocytopenia can occur; rare aplastic anemia.
3. Anaphylaxis: rash, pruritus, occasionally urticaria, angioedema and serum disease reaction, rare exfoliative dermatitis, bullous dermatitis, erythema multiforme and Steven-Johnson syndrome.
